Building, maintaining and evolving the Scotch & Soda B2B webshop between 2015 – 2017. This shop is tailored specially for business to business, allowing debtors to reorder directly from the available warehouse stock.

Working for Scotch & Soda I’ve completed the following projects:

  • Operational shop management
  • ERP system migration (to AX) and redefining interfacing
  • B2B staffel sale
  • B2B USA webstore and USA stock implementation
  • B2B Lookbook
  • B2B semi automatic import/exports
  • Creation of Academy pages in HTML & CSS
  • User profiling of key users in the platform
  • B2B customer journey mapping
  • ROI & TCO calculations

Three of these projects have been highlighted below.

B2B shopmanagement

During this time I was responsible for creating optimalisations in the platform, doing content management and running sales and operations. I worked with ISM e-company and their developers in order to create the desired functionality requested by the business & sales managers inside Scotch & Soda. The Scotch & Soda B2B platform is the online portal for wholesalers to reorder stock. Yearly over half a million pieces are transferred via the shop, representing a value between €10M – €20M.

User profiling & customer journey mapping

For the selection of a new Scotch & Soda B2B platform a number of key users have been defined, on which B2B profiles have been set up. For these profiles their key tasks and context have been defined. A B2B customer journey has been composed to identify the areas for improvement in the online reordering process. Using user stories, the ‘must have’ functionalities have been mapped.

Scotch & Soda Academy portal

For Scotch & Soda I was asked to migrate their academy pages to the B2B online portal. Through this portal wholesalers are able to check the collection info, download manuals and find other materials. The pages have been edited and styled via Magento CMS pages, using HTML & CSS.
